<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Blacktibs @ May 11 2005, 05:30 PM)</div><div class='quotemain'>Now THATS WTF I'm talking about!!!

Thank you sir. I'm just waiting on VDI and a couple more grand to flash at em so they get my damn car in there!

Just so you guys know, I also have been in the process of developing some OEM carbon fiber fenders that come read for a vdc install. Basically they are compliant with Verticle Doors Inc. kits. Others will come later, but for now, a full carbon fiber front end, fenders, sideskirts, and rear bumper are available through FlyRyde for the 00-01 tibs!

Great news. I have my stock 97 Tib down there right now. Its been there since monday. I'll prolly get it back on tuesday. Anyway, that means these will bolt up perfect since they aren't prototyping on mine. I'll have to wait the same as you guys to put these on my show car.

But the according the the big boss man at VDI, the fenders are off and they are working out the designs. So THIS IS GREAT!!! I basically dropped the car off a day when Louis wasn't there and gave the keys to the tib to the guy who actually designs these things. Told him it should be a green light to start work, and two days later (today) I called and everythings rolling along.

I was getting really worried there for a sec since I've been getting brushed off to the side for the past 6 months on this. So I gotta do well to show em it was worth it!

Thanks guys for making this happen smile.gif

Yay I cant wait XD

A few months ago someone said they opted not to get vertical doors because it could be harmfull to the frame. I know if you abuse them they would probably mess something up, but other than that they are safe?

And wondering if we have to do anything (roll the fenders, etc..) when we put them on, or is it just straight up bolt on?

We may have to roll the fenders, its pretty typical with this mod for most cars, but no biggie at all. As for frame damage, it was seriously an issue a few years back, because people would weld huge heavy ass components that pulled out the frame due to gravity over a period of time. This multi million dollar company didn't get where its at by making faulty products obviously, and they are one of the first pioneers find a way to make easy to package, easy to bolt on kits that benefit the car rather than damage it.

Warranty wise these are the best too. They'll replace any struts that go bad, and the struts are made so they are easy to replace and swap out, however, they use top of the line parts, so we wont be going through 20 of em like Jaws021 on his JT autostyle (bootleg) kit. We'll have the benefit of Jaws sexy look, without the drawbacks, and so will he once he ditches that old kit for VDI's (and they know he's doing this=HOOK UP)

We have nothing to worry about trust me, Master P wouldn't have his Impala there right now if these guys weren't the best of the best. Take a look...

The progress on the tibs kit:
