In Chris' defense, WE tend to pressure him to give us a date and estimated time frame. He has no control over when HotShot releases the final product. All he has to go on is somebody elses word and he relays it to us, and we b**** and moan when we don't get it when he said we would. After all, the E in ETA does stand for ESTIMATED. He only gives us dates because we ask for them.

Well hey, the car is up on the lift, and hotshot has the exhaust, so does that mean they've started?

why did i think that hotshot isn't fabricating a NEW header, but they are making a copy of something that you and jaws had custom made a couple years ago? you both mentioned something like that "the crazy tubular looking ones i have" and jaws saying he'll "get some pics to give us an idea of what they'll look like" ??

also, a few questions..everything stated previously in this thread is going to hold true when these are done, right?
meaning..
-$436 shipped (for us GB'ers) is the FINAL price ?
-these will COME ceramic coated ?
-there is going to be no modifications right, no need to cut studs or buy new fans ?
-and do we know if the flange coming off of the flex pipe and going to the cat is going to be 2-bolt or 3-bolt ?
-or are these coming with a hi-flow cat ?

we should get a list of who's payed the total price and who's paid shipping...

I don't want to make Chris do it, but hell it's a daunting task. Zoned you started this thread, I nominate you. wink1.gif LOL.

I think every GB on here has had one, it might make things clearer for Chris. I remember paying up front in PayPal for the headers and $26 for shipping a WHILE ago, so I should be good.

...I just checked my PayPal and yea, I sent shipping money to Chris months ago. If Chris doesn't wanna make the list just add yourself (and Chris can back it up with his records). Just copy paste and add your name and what you've paid for.

1.) Patrick "Patreezy" G - (1) - PAID IN FULL (+SHIPPING)</div>

well, if someone PMs me telling me to add them to the list, how am I supposed to know they're telling the truth? LOL. Chris is the only one who knows.

I've also paid in FULL + Shipping though.

Thanks guys this DOES help a bunch. Ok I'll try to help a bit here, and I will make that list,

but as for the questions, this will bolt on no mods to the fans, or the studs, they'll be easy to get to all bolts so they're not impossible to get tight. They'll be ceramic coated, no cat, straight race header where the tubes all come together at one point equally as long as each other. I believe these will be the 3 bolt flange, which is a standard flange. If anything I may add a second flex pipe down the road for people with 2 bolt flange, but my search kept leading me to 3 bolt, so we went that way. Plus I was out of time and everytime I went to buy a stock catback it had the same stuff I already did. I was told my Catbacks should be done this past Friday, which I was busy and couldn't get an update on.

The blue painted tubular headers me and Jaws talk about were made customer with TONS of welds all over them, way too crazy to make a good part out of, but a good idea as to the way we want the tubes to be. It wont be nearly as aggressive, but it'll be a straight up race part, built for abuse and racing. I dont give a rats ass, I KNOW you'll all freak out happy when you see them. I have full faith in John on this header. I'll have pics soon, and I'll be rockin this damn header w/ catback for you guys in Cali amongst all the piggies who'll try to jack my car from me. I want good dyno numbers, vid clips, sound slips, etc. And of course bomb as pics that I'll use to sell these thigns for he next 5-10 years. hehe, its all about the long run.

Not trying to nag, but it seems like it's always next week for pictures or something.

It's human nature to get annoyed so nobody lecture me please, haha. nana.gif
