Without a resonator and depending on muffler it would be a bit louder but should keep a nice tone. But you can add a high flow or whatever and keep it quieter. This was all stock exhaust I believe.

Before headers and exhaust:

I didn't think it was fair to go from only a cai, to cai headers and exhasut so to compare how loud it gets this is the inbetween
After exhuast:

With Headers and Apexi Exhaust:

Some in car:

We only have one cat on our Tibby's here.
The one directly connected to the manifold.

Just by replacing it with these headers won't get you through inspection.
Your best bet is buy these and a high flow cat (ex. Magnaflow).

This would get you through the APK.
If you're in a rush, smack that crack full with gungum and buy these and get it properly done.</div>

Thought something like this was the problem. So if I want a bolt on system to get me through apk,
what do I need besides the header? Just a high flow cat? Do i need to remove both cats and replace it with one?

Domi, most tibs have 2 cats. One in the stock exhaust manifold, and another one after the flex. So, if you are installing this on a stock exhaust system, you should be fine. However, if you've got a custom exhaust, you're going to need to buy a hi flow cat, and a flex pipe, and get stuff welded together. That's what I did. These headers are amazing though, and my exhaust is soo nice now.

@ Zoned
Like I said before. Our Dutch tibby's only have one cat!
The one connected to the exhaust manifold.

@ Szilvertib
Most likely you will be good with these and a high flow cat for the emissions test during the APK.
Go to Sharkstyling.com and contact the owner. He's doing a gb on these, to safe on shipping.
Maybe you're in time to join us with it.

not 100% shure but i would say that is not a catalitic converter but a Resonator .... like most cars some car avec 2 cat but not a tiburon pretty shure on that....

the other thing that looks like it pretty shure it's a resonator

^^haha, I like how you interweave french and english!

to put the rumors to rest, if you've got a "catalytic convertor looking thing" directly after the 4 runners on your exhaust manifold (right behind the radiator), it is indeed a catalytic convertor (1 of 2). The second will be downstreamin it's "normal" spot. Some years have them, some don't. Read it on hmaservice.com
