man, i want this more than anyone, but you don't even know the financial bind i got myself into the past month...unless i get real lucky here and pull some strings, i might have to be paying tuition 100% myself this semester.
anyway, i can't believe we only have one paid person? these should be selling like hotcakes!

Chris, all these cars have a molded scoop, not a whole hood. I'll post you these pics in a couple of minutes, if i'll find them.
Here you go!
BTW, you can see how they make these cool "BadBoy" style hoods, welding the eyebrows.

It's refreshing to see all the activity and interest towards this hood. It's been more than a year since there was serious talk of production.
Since a Fiberglass version of this hood should not cost more than $350-$400 to sell, with a decent margin going to the manufacturer (read: Flyryde), I firmly believe that there is potential for a small scale production run.
Doesn't have to be too many hoods, perhaps 7-8? The one's that don't sell now will sell later or will sell on Ebay. That's enough for your manufacturer to be slightly interested and get these done for you.
People need replacement hoods. I do. Others do. Why spend $250 on a used aftermarket junkyard piece when, for a little more, we could have a Cadamuro?
Chris, you know I've been strong supporter of you and your venture and while Flyryde still has room to grow, I believe that a run of this hood will do Flyryde some good. Same can be said about a bumper as these are frontal collision replacement parts.
I highly recommend you divert a few hours every week to get this initiative completed. It will do the company's goodwill some good too! Then again, what do I know?
Best,

i think if Chris can get 5 buyers with some money he can buy the mold for this. he KNOWS these will sell and i know he has been wanting to do these for a while. notice this is a sticky. if chris can give this a go i believe you guys will be looking at 450 shipped unless something has changed. after that it will go up 100. im sure if he can get some money towards this he can get it to production. make it happen guys

I cant believe its been that long. It sucks though, usually after one guys sends in cash, a few more follow, but not yet on this one. SEMA is in a few weeks, and then we'll be getting hoods popped out for the RD2 Evos, and it'd be great to get this one out around the same time right!
