what's going on with this? is there lack of funding? i think it would have been easier than the evo hood since it's got no mesh and it's just a groove instead of a full vent. if you have time, it would be cool to find out the condition of this product.
i know not many people bought the evo hood, at least not as much as expected, but this hood will fly. it's not vented and it would keep water out. people will go for this hood. you can also advertise these hoods together as a choice. a lot of members wanted to ship this hood itself from italy...

No its not been lack of funding, just spread myself too thin last year and now I'm paying for it by explaining why soo many projects aren't done. I really just made mistakes last year and accepted money from eager buyers who wanted new stuff to be made. I got in over my head, and now I'm slowly putting out all the products I commited to. I have two hoods, one RD1, one RD2. I have three hood scoops, and a GK hood donated. Its all about getting the work done and sent in for production. I have the funding I needed, so please no more cash till these are done. I have a few people already who have paid for this, and its no further along now than it was when they paid. I just accepted way too many projects and funding for them. I'm just being honest, I'm not trying to shake anyones faith in me. I always come through, I just take things a bit more seriously now, and give it to you guys a bit more realistic. We have come new stuff that should be done and selling by the end of this week, and I'll be able to put my time more into custom work on body parts. As long as I get my mold paid for and the hoods that have been paid for already shipped out, I'll be a happy guy. And now I have an RD2, so no need to wait for a test fitter or anything. So I promise all of you who want the hoods will be able to get them in the near future. Just dont let me forget, and although I get stressed out about this stuff, keep on me about it all and I'll be that much quicker. Its all about prioritizing, which I didn't learn about till a full year and a half into business, lol. Thanks guys, I'm actually looking forward to these hoods myself, as I need a new one bad, for both cars.

congrats on the rd2 man! i know, and we all know you're doing us huge favors by getting us a bunch of new parts. it's really good because the business will slowly unfold because not everyone will want one thing but they will want all sorts of things at different times so you'll be selling left and right.
about the hood, i thought that it was time you had everything you need and this was it. also don't think import trenz or anybody else should be b*tching at you for trying to make a fiberglass molding.
we can wait and we all know you always come through. appologize for pestering you about it, i just thought this GB was the final note before the hoods were made and sent out. personally this was my dream hood and i really want to see it on your car since we have the same bumpers. you've got a lot of people excited, if you promote it right you will sell a lot of hoods considerably more hoods than the evo hood.

Hotshot is actually one of the best things that has happened to me since I started. It screwed me so bad I had to work into a new situation fast, and I NEEDED APE so bad that once in the door, I got friggin setup with em. So the exhausts that were bent for me, are going to be finished by APE, the headers will be available soon, as well as a ton of cool new parts. Plus Tom doesn't promise anything above what makes sense. John at Hotshot was just blowing smoke up my ass the whole time, not cause he's a bad dude, but cause I was hounding him on stuff he really had no way of doing for me. So once bad situation led me right into a great new one.
As far as the new hoods, I just need everyone to start thinking about going all FG from now on. I'm not going to be able to charge you guys 800 bucks a hood just cause you want CF soo bad. Its gonna have to be FG to get things rolling, and then CF much later, and even then, only once in a while I'll spit one out for a big price tag. I have an RD1 hood with the emblem shaved already in storage, and when I get back into town, I just have to pick it up, and see if I can get you guys to buy some hoods in FG.
