I've never been one to care for "bodykits" but I am going to be getting a new front bumper for my 97 tiburon, the F2 evolution bumper (Flyryde calls it the "Type R" front bumper) that you see on the rally/euro tiburons. It's not a big change, no flair, the way I like it...

The f2 evolution front bumper probably drops the front profile of the car maybe 1/2" so sideskirts aren't even really neccessary but here's what I have to decide between.

Here's what the car looks like now:

Here is the F2 Evolution ("Type R") front bumper:

I also have this bumper from Tony (Random).

Gave it to Blacktibs so he could reproduce and sell as the "Genius" front bumper. I don't really even want it but Tony was going to sell it to some POS and I wanted it for FlyRyde (Chris didn't have money...). I may just keep it and use it for shows, races, occasional changes of looks. So keep this front bumper in mind (painted in black pearl) when you are helping me make my Sideskirt decision. wink1.gif

And, the SideSkirt choices:

King:

Studie ("Type S") [click the 1,2,3,4 picture links to see the Studie Skirts]:

well honestly, it would be a super hard decision for me to make.. first you would have to get the bumper back, lol.. that may be hard enough.. and since the king skirts will probably never be made, you might HAVE to go with the f2/studie combo..

but if anything ever works out, your genius bumper is located and by some SUPER slim chance the king skirts are made, i would go with the Genius/ STUDIE, or the f2/king combo..

for a clean stock, semi aggressive tib, i would go with the f2/king combo

but for a more racey, more aggressive tib i would go with the genius/studie combo..

and my final decision i would probably choose the genius combo because it would look more rare and exotic, and look AWESOME in black..

i really wish flyryde would come thru with this stuff, or mad woulda just let me buy the side skirts so i coulda had someone else copy them, or at least SOMEONE would have benefitted from having the king skirts, not a warehouse , or a closet..

o, and the studie may be way easier for you to come across, and since you know that the genius bumper exists, that may be easier also. lol

*Post edited. There's no need to quote the HUGE post to reply to it. I've edited several of these for you. Also, don't type in all caps, it's rude, and annoying.*

Pat, just get the whole King lip kit from Evo Fusion or someone like that then palm off the front lip extension to someone on these forums (someone's bound to want it) but instead of the Evo/Type R bumper, go with the Kore/Type S bumper. Just make sure you mold the rear pods...

I reckon those two skirts you are considering will be too low for the Evo bumper. If you must have the Evo bumper, get some Turbulence skirts or even just leave the stockers on fing02.gif

That last one there looks clean... I wasn't sure about it when I saw the front bumper, but the side profile looks... well, clean. smile.gif
