^^^

My rear wiper is always vertical when stopped confused.gif

It's a RD2

I didn't know they stayed horizontal, that way all the dirt gets on the wiper when not used

On all Tibs rear wiper is vertical when off.

On some German cars (and others) it's horizontal. I don't like it.

Some people conver front 2 wipers to one that is vertical when off (like in DTM racing). It's such a rice mod IMO!!!

Well, the wife gave me the go-ahead to get the new blades today, it was raining, something about 3 year old wipers on a car stored in the desert she didn't like.

LOL

So I got the PIAA Super Silicones. They are rated much higher than the graphites and won't dry rot.

Anyways, after some intense looking on ebay and elsewhere, I got them at this site...

http://www.performanceproducts.com/Product...&producttype=10

For a grand total of...

PIAA Silicone Wiper Blades Wiper Blade - 20 Inch Black (Sold each) 1 $19.95 you save $2.99 $16.96

PIAA Silicone Wiper Blades Wiper Blade - 22 Inch Black (Sold each) 1 $19.95 you save $2.99 $16.96

Subtotal: $48.32

TOTAL: $60.52

Shipped. That is 2 day shipping, and ALL 3 BLADES.

This place has a deal going on where you buy 2 sets and get 15% off. Best prices I could find. So it was only

$14.41 for one of them and $16.96 for the other 2.

Not bad at all.

In Ukraine you can buy wiper blades (only silicon rubbers for them). And it's only $3-4 for 1 rubber.

So your metal wiper stays the same and you change only rubber.

I could have done that, but the wiper blades suck that are on my car and I want complete replacements. PIAA are supposed to be some of the VERY best.
