Default wiper blades

i guess i've never replaced wiper blades before. I pressed the little clip and yanked lightly, nothing moved. What do i do? My blades are 3 yrs old and i park outdoor, will excess amount of dirt get the wiper blades stuck to the arm? Should i just yank harder?

Yank harder laugh.gif:

No seriously, you've nog changed your wipers for over 3 years ?
OMFG, that there's still rubber left surprises me rolleyes.gif

You have to slightly press the plastic click thing in the middle of the wiper while sliding it down (towards the car itself).

It's possible it's a bit stuck after 3 years.

Push the clip in and wiggle the clip while you are pulling down on the wiper. Becareful that the wiper arm does not slam into your winshield.

Ahhh, i yanked the wrong way. I looked at the connector carefully and after pressing the clip, the blade slides down very easily. Thanks. I got a teflon blade, they seem fairly good. I cheap out and only bought driver side 22" for $18. But boy I didn't know wiper blades (from canadian tire) can look this ugly wink1.gif

I will post pic tomororw if nobody's seen these before.
