Ok, I have some scratches in my front windshield. There pretty deep and ugly. How can i get them out? The glass guy said i need a new windshield, but i would to if i ran his business. Is there any kind of buffer i can get to them out? I also have some broken side mirrors. I have replacement mirrors, but they're black, not blue. How do i get the glass out of them without breaking them?? Thanks

Humor me here.

Who's your insurance through?

Do you have full coverage?

I believe that you can just pop the glass out of the mirrors.. been a few years since I did it, so I cannot remember exactly.

And yes.. once you scratch a windshield deep enough, you need to replace it. Light scratches can be buffed out.. but deeper ones are for life.
