My windshield has a million tiny scratches and dots, you normally can't see them, but when the sun shines on them I can't see shit through the windshield. Is there any way to "resurface" the windshield? All i could find on the net was this snoop doggy dogg white lookalike describing some resurfacing kit: http://kitcarchannel.magnify.net/item/QXY8BX3B8R9JTDCK

No.
Most full coverage insurance comes with glass coverage, where they automatically replace the glass or repair it for free.

Yeah dude. Windshields aren't all that expensive, and especially if your vision is that bad, i'd cough up the couple hundred bucks and get it replaced if your insurance won't cover it.

Thanks. Well, I doubt it's covered by my insurance, and even if it was, I doubt they would agree it really needs replacing - as I said, you can't normally see them, only when the sun is shines on them on certain angles..

In South Carolina it's free and covered as per stated by South Carolina Law. You just call the glass company and stuff happens. They'll repair it. If the repair fails, then they will replace it free.
Make sure that the glass company has a similar policy. Think about it when you get your glass repaired..... ask your tech.... how could this fail?.....
