id say rims first.. then youll want suspension, trust meh.
of your choices i like

and then for a body kit... go subtle.. the sexiest an rd1 could get would be with this combo.. F2 front bumper, King side skirts, King rear bumper, EVO hood.. thats what i plan on doing with my rd1 next yr when i buy it, but i might go with the drag bumper.

RD1Tib you have Black on Black and that is what I was planning on getting but now that you posted that Gold on Black combo i'm kinda torn. Which do you all think is better on a black Tib, Black rims or Gold?

kinda off topic but i'll answer u. I have black and bronze. To me, i like the look of the bronze compared to black. the car seems so dark when it has black wheels and also there are many black cars with blk w/polish lip. So i just took the alternative route to be "different" and went bronze.

back on topic- if i were to also pick from those u chosen, in which i should of before giving my thoughts of wheels, i like those that socks chosed as well.

I have done my search through the forums and I saw that there is forums specifically for stuff for performance such as engine, cold air intakes, etc. But when I do a search for a forum that very dedicated or related to body kits, I find them scattered. Is there a thread I missed that is specific to advice on Body kits, such as what are the best materials, brands, places to look (other than the obvious such as e-Bay), etc?

Also same thing as far as rims go. Keep in mind that I have the GK '06 body.

Ok bring it, I am Greddy for the flames! (I know I missed a thread somewhere, have to have.)

QUOTE (optimoprime @ Oct 5 2006, 10:17 PM)
rims before kits because stock is just the cleanest look your gonna get. bodykits.....well unless u getsomethin raw as shit, your just messin up a good thing.

SO true. I was all for a bodykit until i got rims. Now i don't even want a body kit because i'm scared i will mess up the look. I love the clean look.

But to answer your question, definately rims first. fing02.gif

i gotta agree with SOCKS, the rims he picked out of your list would look awesome. as for your "poll", i'd say rims. and for sure take some time about thinking about getting a body kit. make sure there's nowhere you go too often that you could potentially scrape or rip a bumper off. just before you jump into getting one definately consider all options

Tiburons look so clean stock, I would never get a kit... maybe a slight lip kit.

Tiburon lowered with good 16" rims > Any Bodykitted Tiburon basically

Tibs just dont have any good kits... Zefiro maybe... but all in all body kits are a major pain in the ass to get (ask anyone with one that wasn't bought off Ebay) and really don't improve the look much IMO.

Body kits work on some cars, and not on others.

if you're tired with the stock look, go for some agressive rims like 5-spoke. i was going to get some expensive O.Z. superturismos, but i'm afraid my rims do more for the car than the O.Z.'s would be doing.

rims make a world a difference, believe me if you've ever watched any car show. not that i like Z's, but have you ever seen 350z's on spare tires!! HAHAHAHA... exactly my point.
