A parking lot is "Private Property".

-This is why the police can't do anything about it.

That private property rule sucks...If you go to a grocery store and some dumb little kid pushes a grocery cart into your car and dings it...Oh well. The only time the cops can give a ticket is if someone intentially damanges your car..in other words, if someone dings your car..tell the cops they did it on purpose!

 

I know about the Private Property thing, which sucks. But an accident is an accident. You are still reesponsible. Get the pics and get the bastard.

 

It won't work..the same thing happened to me. Like I said, the other party is only liable if it's intentional. The other party can say it was an accident and you can say they did it on purpose..so what do you think the cop is gonna do? He's gonna say it's on private property and there's nothing they can do.
