Test fit it on your car asap.

Pay particular attention to the humps above the lights and make sure it fits right. Biggest problem you'll have with an aftermarket hood is going to be those bumps.

Vis should be a super light and good hood though. Enjoy!

Can you take a shot of the underside and how the vent grill is attatched?

Here ya go mang...

(looks like theyre little metal hook things underneath the fiberglass or w/e of the underside and hook around the mesh)

Yeah I can pick it up with my pinky lol, the trucking company thought it wouldnt fit in my 01 Jetta station wagon, I guess I proved them wrong.

I will definitley test fit ASAP

if its really VIS (it will say by the latch, then youll most likely need to adjust the latch for it to fit flush. I had to, others tood, but other than that its such a great hood, best on the market for quality

Thanks for the tip Alex.. How much was the latch off? Did you just have to move it around a little bit or move the holes and everything?
I'm pretty sure it's authentic VIS, its got the plate with the seriel number or whatever on it and it came in VIS paper covering it.

Yeah, that's a Vis hood for sure. They don't do much special to the underside of the CF, only a single layer on the upper part and wrapped to the underside edges. (Some, like the C-Wings, does a full CF Wrap, so the entire bottom is CF also.) But the VIS hoods are lighter since they don't use as much material. Once again, good hood. Enjoy!
