people who wrap their cars with vinyl, what is the vinyl material like? when i think of vinyl, i think of a big sticker which isnt very high quality or thick. so is the vinyl they use for wraps really thick? i would think it would have to be so that it didnt tear or have chips in it from rocks.
is that why you dont see bubbles in vinyl wraps because its really thick and stretchy so it goes on smooth?

thick or thin, vinyl is properly applied with a heat gun and lots of pressure in the right spot at the right time from skilled hands. That's what prevents bubbles.
Sorry for the 2 month bump but, as with anything, the outcome depends on the quality of the product. If you're talking about the cheap eBay vinyl's, then no, they aren't thick. They're terrible quality and I definitely wouldn't recommend. That's just my experience though.
