Default headlight condensation

I noticed on Hyundais the headlight assemblies come with a rubber tube on them

is this to prevent condensation inside of the headlight? Should I seal it?

It's a vent I think. It seems like it could prevent condensation. If you have visible condensation, it's probably because of a crack or a broken seam somewhere else.

If they put a tube, some engineer was paid good money to figure out just where to put it and the tooling was made more expensive to mold the tube mount . . . it's probably a good idea they put it where they did.

it is a vent, without it your headlights would get condensation on the inside, it's there so the housing can "breathe". Don't seal it up.
