i happen to love my vs kit. besides the fact that i do have to drive carefully over speed bumps an shit. i love the extreme look of the kit. and when i installed mine all of the lines matched up perfect.

everyone likes different things so its all good and well but to say that the vs kit is fugly is just flatout wrong.

i have seen allot worse looking kits installed on tibs.

BTW: someone smack the sh*t outta the guy whos talking trash about tibs!

nope, it was order directly to veilside

Sorry bro, I've had two front bumpers and they both fit perfectly. They were purchased 3 years apart so probably not even the same old.

Oh, and you don't "order directly from veilside" you go through their distributors. They have a list on their website. Sorry bro, you were lied to.

yep, exactly what i was going to say.. probably someone paid the REAL price for a kit, and got a knockoff.

but if it didnt fit PERFECT, it wasn't an authentic Veilside kit.

well, it's hard for us to debate about it, since neither of us ordered the kit ourselves.

It is possible that Veilside had a bad mold, but I've seen a few authentic kits that were flawless, Tiburon and non-Tiburon kits. Mine was perfect both times, honestly took me 15 minutes to drill the holes and install the front bumper.

I could go into questions about the Veilside stamp, as I've personally seen it, but I haven't posted pictures of it b/c I don't want fake stamps to become the new thing.

It could also be possible that the unibody or front support on the car was messed up in an accident, since most body kits (mine included) are purchased as the result of an accident. My friend bought a bumper for his Accord after he wrecked the front end. It was used, and we took it off one Accord and put it on his, and we had to use hammers to make it even bolt up.

This shouldn't be debated any further. Some copy-cat kits are good fitment, but I've personally seen some that are 5-6" off, and look hideous. You never know which you're going to get

like my friends FAILside kit.. the side skirt on one side was 3" too long, other one was 2" too short.. the back bumper looked like it was for a different car (how bad it was)

and the front bumper was bowed out about 2" on each side. if we would pushed the sides in, to mount it up, they woulda snapped for sure..

FG was also about 1/16" thick. week later... FAILside met garbage truck.. garbage truck 1... FAILside 0

QUOTE (Tibbychick @ Jul 19 2008, 10:10 AM)
One of the reasons I love my kit so much is because I can think of only 3 other cars that had the same kit, and all of them are gone. I can't think of any others that currently have the same look.

There are few Veilside tibs that do stand out in my mind from the others, because they did something different or unique with them instead of just slapping it on and painting it. Like the way Rix had his painted.

Thanks fing02.gif

Oh, and speaking of the Zefiro kit. Has anyone seen any RD2s with the Zefiro Evo kit? I keep trying to tell judges at car shows that there are VERY FEW of them in North America...I could possibly be the only one in Canada for all I know. Is there anyone else on this board that has it?

I know when I first posted pics of my car RED Z made a big deal about it being "Z-E-F-I-R-O" lmao.gif

I can't think of any other RD2s with the Zefiro kit, other than the owner of kspec.
