Okay, the debate is ever raging about how friggin ugly the Veilside kit is on the RD, and how overplayed it is. From the 400 companies selling bogus copies, to the poor bastards that didn't know there were other kits for their car, we have TONS of folks that seem to like this kit.

So why do they get so defensive when it's bashed?

Veilside tied for the 2nd ugliest bodykit for the RD EVER.

Maybe we should have a "Nicest Bodykit" thread too? I personally love the Zefiro Turbo Edition, Ixion, and the MPS. Hell, even the Zefiro Evo was very nice.

Personally, I really liked the VS kit, when I first got my car, it was the first kit I saw, maybe that's why I liked it cause I hadent researched much, but now that I've seen a load of kits out there, my best choice would be the Zefiro Turbo body kit, second cuda 1. I have got a kit from Extreme Dimensions, and personally I hate it now. If I had the money I would of gone for a real body kit, and if anybody made a poly urithane body kit, I would have been all over it.

I think the VS kit is just a waste of money, you pay $1k+ for the real kit and you cant lower it since it's so low, and you have to park like five feet away from the garage door cause the front bumper goes about two and a half or three feet from the car...

there are a few nice kits for the tib.. the nicest kit IMO, would be a mix match of the following.. Zefiro Turbo front, King Side Skirts, Ixion Rear.. then the Zefiro Turbo kit, then MPS/Cuda II, then Ixion..

Worst kits: Rector, Zefiro, VS, VS style, Cuda...

just my opinion..

and those arent including lip kits..

i love the VS kit, but i do agree that alot for tibs have it. the 2nd would be the genius bumper. If people don't like then so be it, but don't call someone eles car ugly as sh*t, I thought this was a forum to help people out not knocking them for there choice of body kit. there's some rd's on here that i think are nasty but if the owner thinks it great then so be it! you can't please everyone all the time.

I'd like to do a correlation between those that like this god awful kit and their age/member date.

Here's my question:

If a kit looks the same and works the same (i.e. same quality) who give a crap if it's a rip off or not? If I'm droppin cash on a body kit (which I won't be because... well... I don't have cash) I'm going for the best price I can get, screw the name stamped on the inside.
