Upgrading Fuses
i did a SEARCH (type in HID) and the first thread i checked said that since both headlights have their own fuse, you can leave the fuses as is. You only have to change the fuse (IMO more of a downgrade) if both lights run off the same circuit.

Nope, not needed. HIDs run on 35 watts, when they ignite, they may draw up to 55 watts. Normal bulbs run on a constant 55 watts, so you really don't need to change them.

put a higher rated fuse then the one the car is designed for. It's there to protect the wiring, not the electronic component.
If a fuse blows its because there was a problem with a component and the fuse stopped the wiring from burning, it did it's job. If you put in a higher rated fuse, then you are risking a electrical fire across the entire lenght of the wire. You're also risking me comming to your house and beating you up. twak.gif
If you need to get more power to a device then what the manufacturer allowed, the proper way is to install a separate line from the battery and use a relay to switch power on and off to that line.
