no you need cooling for amps mine are cooled when the windows are down but even then on hot summer days my highs amp will go into temp safe mode and cut off. there were several diffrent days this and last summer that if the car wasnt windows down and moving the amps wouldnt stay on. the second you stop (ie air flow stops) the amps get too hot for their dual cpu fans to handle.

yes i have a large system, but this was a problem even before that went in. remeber the highs amp i'm talkin about is supposedly a 4x75 but even with it doing 400 watts this was happening constantly. if there was a simple way to do this i would definaly have this for my car.
