I wanted to know if anyone took there molding off of the side of the doors and above the wheels, mine has a black trim on my 2001 tib and i hate it, i was wondering if anyone else took there's off, also should i keep the pinstripe or take it off?

I took the trim off my doors. Just be prepared to deal with 'glue residue' under that trim.

Pin stripes? I guess I would have to see a photo of your car to tell. Can you tell if the pinstriping is paint or vinyl?

It's vinyl, the reason why I don't want it on there is cause whoever put it on didn't do a very good job, and it has alot of bubbles in it. How about the trim over the tires, the one that is on the fenders?

 

I dunno, I don't have any trim other than the stuff on my doors. No pinstriping either.

yeah it's a 2001 tib, it has like a black trim under the fenders where the tire is.

 

The trim is UNDER the fenders? That sounds like the fender liner. It is a plastic piece that runs the full length of the fender. You can't really remove that. Or are you refering to something else?

 

I took off all of the trim, it looks so much better now, I even took of the dealer logo in the back smile.gif
