I've seen a lot of cars on here with tinted windows, and others without. Just wondering what the general opinion on tinted windows is?

just had mine done.

35% on the doors, 20% the rest of the windows.

I prefer 20% all the way around but cops like to look at you more with darker door windows.

try and find a place that offers a lifetime warranty. some people only offer a 5 year warranty and usually about that time it will start to bubble and turn purple depending on how much the car is not garaged.

another thing to ask for is referalls from customers and pics of cars they have done. up close pics showing splice lines if any were needed is a plus.

tint is a most...I got 20% on top of 35% all the way around...which makes about 7-9%...

likely for me my wife has a script from the eye doctor saying the sun gives her real bad headaches smile.gif , so the cops can not mess it me

The tint on my car is 20% and sometime I wish it was darker. Then at night I'm glad it isn't. If I had to retint I'd get 20% again.

edit: btw, I will have another daily drivers without tinted windows.

I vote YES... I've got 5% on the sides and 35% on the back (allows for perfect viewing of the front TV's from the rear). 5% is too dark at night when you're trying to look in your mirror though. Not bad if you jsut be a bit more careful though I love the darkness though.
