Yup double sided tape
just use your fingernails
works fine.
it's only a three dimensional sticker. a Little bit of heat and someway to pry it up from the paint is all you will need. The only problems you are going to have might be darker paint beneath where it has sat for all these years.

I understand you though Mad, I bought a Tuscani License Plate Frame when I bought my car and found out I don't drive a Tuscani, might as well stick w/ the Tiburon name...
Careful with that GooGone, I've had it take off paint (it was on a car though)
but maybe it was because of what I was using to scrub the sticky stuff off. I think there's a warning on the bottle...
