Tiburon letters peeling....

Tiburon letters peeling....
ok just wonder on how many people's cars is the word tiburon comming off?(located on the back of the car) The word itself isn't comming off but all the silver over the letters is. Can i just shave it and buy a new one or what?

See i bought mine and it didnt have the tib logo on the back, im assuming the previous owner didnt like it and took it off, cant tell where it was though..
.i think they sell the tiburon logo's at KSPEC but i could be wrong

I took mine off long before it had a chance. LOL I had a ricer moment and put the 'Turbulence' logo on... but its starting to fade now... 02.gif

Yup mine too! Been thinkin of taking it off and leaving it off or replacing it but with a decal instead so it doesnt peel!

cool, im glad its not just mine. Maybe i'll remove it and see how i like it and then if i liked it more with it on i'll go and purchase a new one that says tiburon or maybe go with one that says Turbulence.

yea i may do that. Whats the best way to remove it without scratching the paint? i know the dealorship sticker that was on my car i just peeled off with my fingers and used goo-gone on what was left. Doesn't look like the tiburon logo can just be peeled of but i really didn't try.

im not sure if its the same as my friends beammer. He said he heated it up with a hair dryer and used a floss to split the emblem from the car. Not sure if its the same with tibs.
