I can't quite picture what you want to do with that spoiler... but I also want to change the look on my spoiler. I don't mind the factory spoiler so much, it's just that everyone has one and I'd like to be a little different. I thought that it would look nice to have one of those high wing factory spoilers for the 99-under Mitsu Eclipse on my 2000 Tibby. I wonder if that would fit right or not? Hmm..... Or a high wing universal supra style spoiler... Too ricey?

I have the Kombat spoiler on my Tib, as do some of the other members on here. Just go to www.factoryspoilers.com and you'll see it there. If you really want to get custom with it, do what I'm doing. Mold your spoiler with the hatch so that it looks like all one piece to the car. If you don't think you can do it, then any collision or hot rod shop should be able to. wink.gif Also, you can get any fiberglass spoiler to fit a Tib as long as the width of the spoiler is the the same as the hatch. As for getting it to fit the curves of a Tib's hatch...all you have to dis get some sandpaper or a file, and sand the part where you bolt the wing to your hatch, so it fits the curves correctly. There's alot of trick things you can do...just have to get in the right mindset! smile.gif tongue.gif

If I did change my spoiler, what can I do with the holes in my hatch from the previous spoiler? Can I fill it in with something and it will look good as new? I really dont want to have to put a decal at that spot.

hmmm,Ill prolly just go w/ an aftermarket,I was just seein what i could do w/ the stock one.As far as covering up the holes from the stock spoiler you will have to use fiberglass matting, some sort of filler(bondo or something)and have the decklid painted,I wouldnt cheap out and just paint those spots, the colors will not match. At least thats what id do w/ mine. Its up to you.

How expensive is it to fill up the holes? Less than $30 or so? I hope...

depends tehre are 2 ways you can do it

1) get a screen and fill in the holes with bondo
pro- inexpensive, do it urself proj.
con- hit it one time and it cracks, even slamming the trunk might crack it

2) weld on a piece of meta
pro- it is indistructable
con is very expensive because u have to repaint the tunk lid
im paying 200 bux to get this done but i also have 9 holes in my trunk

Filling in the holes is the least of your concerns...you also have to have it repainted! You won't get that for $30!
