Front plate
I noticed in this picture...

That the licence plate is in the front window, now if you have it there is it legal because let's say I want a plate that says Dallas Stars and has the logo, could I put my Stars plate where the real one is and then put my real one in the window? Any help is mighty appreciated.

You mean the Minnesota North Stars?
(sorry, I hate hockey, but that pissed me off when the team left MN).
Check your local laws. I know in Cali, some cops will give you a ticket for where Yamaneko has his plate, and others will say it is legal. You can also try to find a cool cop, and just ask him.
Lastly...do other cars in texas do this? If they get away with it...chances are, you might too!

Hey, I'm in Texas too. I asked a campus police officer back when I was still college-ing and she said that, when she was in the academy, they were told it's illegal to not have a front plate. But since she's been out of Academy, she said she'd heard otherwise from other officers. I don't think that city cops are as strict about it as state troopers are, since they're usually the ones on the side of the road setting speed traps, and the front license plate is an excellent flat reflective surface for them to aim their radar and laser guns at.
I was stopped a month ago by a city cop trawling for drunk drivers, and the officer didn't say anything about not having a front plate, even though he went in front of my car to look for one. So I'm guessing it really doesn't matter. As a precaution, I carry my front plate around in my trunk. If I'm ever asked about it, I can claim that it had just fallen off and I hadn't gotten a replacement set of screws to put it back on yet.
