no you dont, they have double sided tape around the edges and you just stick the covers on over the stock tail lenses.

 

You could do that replacement, but why?!?!? Back to them same situation if you have to take them off. You can use the tape, but you're better off to silicon them on.

Where to pick up some smoked headlight and tailight covers for the 97 tibs, like camaros always are running aroud with? I know ventshade used to sell them.

 

well Ive seen a couple of ppl take the reg tail sills off by baking them and then putting on the smoked ... I think it looks 100 times better looking.

 

as far as where to get it, you can buy a can of nightshade, which is high quality stuff, off of ebay. my buddy with the 03 did that, and i'm gonna buy it sometime soon and let him do my car too! he just registered his car again on post ( have to like everyyear) and it passes inspection, so i guess the MP's here on post don't mind it lmao.gif

 

I figured I would have buy some niteshade and get some kspec clear covers to do the tails. Know anything about some smoked headlight covers?

Mine have been smoked for about a year now... Used some aerosol stuff called dark shades I believe. I also wet sanded and clear coated the crap out of them
