The shark wing was made for the curves in the gen1 trunk/hatch. It can be made to fit on the gen2 trunk/hatch, but requires some customization to the 3 mount points to get the spoiler to line up with the curves in the gen2 trunk/hatch.

the curves of the first gen hatch and the 2nd gen hatch are identical except for the ip on the 2nd gen... this only effects the middle support... the other 2 bolt on easily and u dont need the middle supoprt

The spoiler is from wings west, and "NO" it doesn't fit... I got it custom fitted from them directly in Hunnington beach. instead of a 30 min install, it took about 3-4 hours. It is their sharkwing for the 1st generation tiburon. they did a nice job of making it fit the best it can (almost completely flush) but had to modify it and redrill holes for the mid piece.

wingswest co. got the wing to fit, but it wasn't a easy task. If you want to do it you must mount the ends first and measure it correctly, then screw on the middle piece and redrill holes on the middle wing piece. I really don't recommend this because it was a pain to do. and if you screw up, you wreck your hatch, and possibly your wing also. The WW wing is nice, and it is different from the stock oem wings because it is thicker, and it doesn't really match the curvatures of the 2nd gen. Other wings may work, but the ww is a rough and tough fit. check my pics and other posts to view pictures.
