Default Shark fin antennas

Does anybody know if shark fin antennas have the same cable as the one that connects to the stock antenna? Another words, is it just plug and play once I drill a hole and mount the shark fin on the roof? (Im having the stock antenna shaved off in case anyone is curious)

That is a good question, but I would think that it would be the same, as an antenna connection is generally the same regardless of what the antenna looks like itself. That being said, I'm not gonna rip down the headliner of my elantra to find out for you
