Now I know that DTN had to modify his scoote for his RD2, but I was wondering if anyone has tried one for the RD1's. And if so, did the hood need to be modified to sit properly as what DTN had to do for his hood?

SOCKS said his fit right away. Scoote offered to take it back. I had to have my hood on the car in order to drive to work because it is illegal to drive on a military installation with missing panels or at least that's what the military police told me. So, I did what I had to do.

Oh I see, I was just curious 'cause my summer project is going to need a new hood, among other things, and I'm pretty sure the RD1's hood doesn't arc down as much as the RD2's.

And, well DTN, you're about the only person on the site that I've seen with the hood. So, I had to ask just to make sure....

It's starting to come together, one panel at a time.
