Looks suprisingly good. What did you reseal them with? I used GE Silicone II to add a second line of sealant around mine, it doesn't shrink supposedly and dries clear.

I've got an extra set and have been contemplating giving them a black metallic paint job. Not sure it's worth the trouble though, the plastic covers are pretty hazed.

 

I like it, but its just a little to pinkish imo.
possibly just the lighting?
overall nice effect. i like the close to stock look.

 

hmmm i donno i think there way better than the normal altenza style but still dont quite fit right with the tib

maybe its cuz you can only see 1 light

I haven't sealed them up yet, wanna make sure that the paint is dry before sealing it up. but when I do, I'll be sure to take at least a couple photos in it's entirety

I've always likeed the clear lense look, but hated the rice factor.

Damn, some serious hate for the chrome tails in this thread. The standard chrome altezzas look dead sexy with the right paint job. Black, burgundy, blue and other dark colors. Just like clear corners, they don't look good on paint jobs that don't go with silver accents.

And some of you shouldn't be hating on the rice factor judging by the body kits you're running. nana.gif

I find the stock RD2 tails to be incredibly ugly. Although I've seen a few lightly smoked stockers that looked good.

 

looks good...reminds me of the stock GK tails with red vinyl or paint on the turn signal part...
