here's a quick DIY. take pix and make a real one if you get the chance.



1.go to radio shack and pick out a 12V 30A relay or whatever will suit your needs, along with appropriate connectors or solder and heat-shrink tubing.

2.zip-tie relay on inside of road vibration sensor mount (on driver side upper strut assy)

3.hook up control switch like this: ACC-switch-relay coil-ground

4.hook up fogs like this: Battery-fogs-relay contacts-ground

5. ensure everything looks safe before flicking the switch.


This would be by far the easiest way i could think of. hooking it up to an ACCessory source will make sure you don't leave it on, the relay will be deenergized and the power will be cut when you turn off the car. Use BATTery power for powering the fogs. Everything that goes through the ACC will add stress to the acc fuse and switch.

if the stock switch has three prongs in the back cant you just wire it like an aftermarket switch?
