I vaguely remember seeing a DIY on how to rewire your foglights so they are independent of the headlights, and can come on whenever you want. I've searched thorougly and can't find that post again. Perhaps it was lost in the small crash we had a while back?
If someone could redirect me to that post, if it's out there, or if not, do a DIY on how to do it I would be very grateful!! I really want to do this mod, but don't know exactly how to do it.
Thanks in advance!

Bump for lack of information!!
Any general hints, ideas or suggestions on how to go about this would be great! That foglight switch looks pretty complicated, and i wanted some tips before going at it.
Does anybody know of the link to that DIY on the New Tiburon site at least?
Thanks!

I rewired mine to work with aftermarket fogs.
I had both sides of the plug, and just wired it up so that the new fog lights had the factory fog light plug, so I could snap them in and snap them out if needed.
If you have the existing wires (I assume you do since it says REwiring) then just run the positive to the positive and the negative to the negative. Should be fairly simple.

You could simply connect the fog wires to the "parkers" instead of the headlights so that when the switch is flicked, they'll come on with the parkers. It's how they are wired from the factory here in Australia.

Oz, where would you find the "parkers", and which wire would go from the fog to the "parkers"?

^ Sorry mate... the parkers are the small bulbs underneath the high-beams (brights) in that part of the headlight housing; I don't know what you guys call them. Just tap the wires/switch that lead to that bulb.
Now that you say this I think I will do this tomarrow I did it b4 to my old eclipse all I did was take a multi-meter and find the hot wire coming into the switch and make a jumper to the connection for the switched power if you would like I will snap some pic's and do a DIY tomarrow.
