has anyone done the angel eye conversion on and rd tib before? well aside from buying the lights pre-assembled. ive searched and all i found were links to the rd2 conversion. i know they are very similar but i wanted to see the fitment.

they're the same process. it's fairly simple to do just follow the DIY, make sure you don't hold it in the oven too long, and make sure you don't get any silicone on the bezel because it will be challenging cleaning it up.



a lot of people zip tie the angel eye at the top of the to the bezel to hold it in place, but i just drilled a small hole and tied fishing thread through it so you can't see it.

 

ive put the halos in RD2 lights before so that should be a breeze. is there anyone on this forum that has done it, and has an apart pic of the RD1 headlight? i dont know how to fit the halo on the non-projector side. it didnt look circular.
