Default Question about hood scoop location

If you were to mold a hood scoop on and you were running with a short ram intake, would it be better to:

A. Offset the hood scoop so its directly over the filter of the SRI so air hits it when entering the engine bay

B. Place the scoop directly in the center so air cools the engine block and intake manifold

Keep it centered. Unless you had another one matching on the other side, it would look asymmetric. I have the STI scoop, and it looks great, but it's centered. Having a scoop over top of the intake rather than centered wouldn't matter quite as much - any scoop will lower engine temps, which is exactly what you're after.
