I would go with a good name brand such as...house of kolor or Basf...both are awsome paints but get ready to spend some $$$.

Stay away from dupoint and others like that...PPG is okay kinda

house of kolor is fantastic but you need to do your homework on how to mix it and use it..

its pretty complicated but when done right it comes out awesome smile.gif

I used PPG, Its good but not the best. I have no complaints on it though. But if you wanna go with a top of the line paint then go with HOK. They are expensive but when done correctly itll be nice. So it depends on thev $$ you wanna spend man!

PPG is decent and is a decent price.

I'd be more concerned with prep work then anything, that will decide how it turns out more than the actual paint used.

don't paint dark-dark blue.

Paint it glossy black with big metal flakes. Should be good. Or paint it in exotic color....

pink for example (j/k).

This will be a summer project so I`ll have plenty of time to save up some green. I went to have an estimate on how much it would be to paint the whole car and he said $5000 at least! Fudge him, so I have a friends dad thats done a couple dozen cars to do it.

I paid in paint about $400 for everything including all the reducers, primers and basecoat and FX.
