redz, i just got mine today, i wass also thinking of taking them apart and painting the insides black, but i'm going to put mine on and see how they compare to my 35% tint, if its close they stay the black chrome, gunmetal, whatever. If it doesn't look good, i'll prob paint them once it warms up here.

and i'll prob get the kspec tinted covers for the stockers just for the hell of it so i can change them if, or when, i want to.

The black chrome looks good on a Black tib. I just think the black with a clear coat would look even better.

yeah it prob. would, personally, i think the black chrome/gunmetal ones look really good on red tibs, i'll try and post some pics tomorrow after i get them to sit properly, i have about a 1/8" gap at the forward most part of the drivers side one and the passenger side won't go back all the way where the hatch and rear bumper meet.

I did put them on at 8:00pm last night so there wasn't much light to work w/. I may try pulling them out and taking the gasket that came w/ them off and using the one from my stock tails, b/c i think its a little thinner.

well, i got my drivers side to fit nicely.

BUT ONE OF THE FVCKING STUDS BROKE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. :explode:
so i've got 3 of the four bolts on tight but not the one that i needed to get. oh well i'll try pulling them off this weekend and see if i can get the stud off the stock housing and some how fit it onto the altezza housing.

GOD DAMNIT

Well, i looked the stock housing last night, and i can't figure out how to get the stud out of it. Any ideas??? preferably w/o cutting.
