How does that clear tail light cover work? Do you take the cover off the stock lights? I want to paint the inside of some altezzas silver. I think that would look really good. If I wanted to do it would I get some of these covers or what?

yea im saying for the 2000-2001 rd style. but i know that for the new tiburons they have a clear piece that goes over top of the tailight, so you can DIY painted bezels, or led mod. what im asking is do they have that same product but for 2nd gen tibs? or if there's a way to get the cover off of the altezza lights so that you can paint the inside and snap it back into place.

Yes, Kspec.com has the clear and smoke covers for the RD2.

Yes, you can take it off and paint it. I have the "Black Chrome" Euros and they look good but I was thinking of getting another pair to work on and paint the base the same black as my car.

The covers won't "Snap" into place, you'll have to glue them down.
