Right now I'm debating between blue (which it is already but the paint is messed up all over the place)
a subtle orange, or black.

The body is messed up, gotta get door side skirt and panel fixed (not too bad) but the front bumper is gone. So I just decided to keep my veilside knock off kit and get it put on instead of selling it and getting the damage fixed. And yes I know knockoffs suck, and veilside is ugly, but I'll be going to quite a few shows with my car club, and the veilside is great for shows, so yeah...

Anyway heres some crappy photoshops,

They are small, and look bad, but it gives you an idea. Couldn't get it to go black, or find a black veilside kit.
Right now, I think I'm gonna go with a black paint, and pearl coat. Thats what I have now cept it's blue paint and pearl coat...

Any suggestions (or pics of black veilside) are appreciated. smile.gif

Just remember, Black shows ALL the flaws.. if you have a knock off VS bodykit.. that is going to be a LOT of filling and sanding it to get it smooth enough for black.

Hmm... good point. What color would look good? I guess black is pretty much ruled out. Can't keep a black car clean without a garage either lol.

What about a lambo style orange? Or a different shade blue. Doing the entire interior blue, and having a black/chrome/blue engine bay. What would match up with that? Blue obivously, orange is opposite blue on the color wheel so they would, clash, but almost go together.

If you were to go with an orange hue.. I suggest that orange that Mazda uses on the Mazda Speed 6

^^orange does not look good on a tib. I'm with a metal flake blue... Cobalt blue.... but maybe a bit darker paint with some white pearl thrown in.

Yeah. I had my heart set on black.

The car is currently (stock) cobalt blue with pearl coat (makes it look metallic blue).

Orange prolly would look kind of odd. I'd get tired of it too no doubt lol.

It seems kind of silly to get it painted blue again, but I think I'll go with a "custom" blue, because theres already a blue veilside (knockoff) tib here, and theres another tib getting a fake veilside put on, but his tib is stock orange (crappy orange) and I guess he's keeping the orange.

BTW I'm in Cape Coral. ST Petersburg? I think my car club started a chapter up there, with like, 4 people lol. Heard of 2Dextreme?
