My right headlight (facing the tib) is dull looking.. what causes this? Is it stained or is it washable? It's in the inside of the headlights.

i get it on the outside of my ford escorts lights. i just get rubbing compund and have at it. makes it nice and clear again, im not really sure what makes the light go milky like that though.

I posted a solution with a product McGuire's makes. My problem was on the outside, but you can take off the lense and buff the inside with this product. It's clear plastic polisher, you can find it at AutoParts store, in a white bottle.
If you find the DIY, I posted the images in photobucket may have been deleted. sorry. 02.gif But the results were amazing.

Are you sure that the problem is on the inside of the lens? Most of the time, any discolouration is caused by pits and microscopic scratches on the outside of the clear plastic. These fine flaws make the lens appear yellow and opaque. I would try the McGuire's thing that Pat was talking about. Worst comes to worst.. you can always sand your lights down with superfine sandpaper and then polish them out with rubbing compound.
