I had a set of plastic ones on my tib. They looked awesome and were low to the ground. Only problem is that when took a sharp turn or hit a dip they mad a loud dragging noise lol blink.gif
I took them off but I would like to try rubber ones someday

the rubber ones are the best. just like the ones in the ebay link. i would think they are a lot better since they don't cover up the bottom corners to repel water easier.
but i also wonder what kind of material you can make your own with!

Some UK dealers issued them with the cars, I still have mine on the car from 10 years ago, they are showing their age now though and will be replacing with some fresh black rubber ones at some point soon.
