I've been using my sunroof everyday(not fully slided). I put WD40 as a temporary maintenance on my sunroof and I want to get the proper grease/lubricant. I have a really old tub of all-purpose grease in my garage and I would like to put it to use. I know that our sunroof motors are pretty weak and I don't want any initial resistance caused by extremely thick grease. Would a thin film of this all-purpose grease be ok for our tibbies?

should be ok.. i would use something thinner though. but all purpose grease shouldn't cause any problems.

Where exactly are we supposed to grease? Mine sticks almost everytime I try to open in. Just at first, it wont tilt up. No mean to hijack, if mine is a different problem I will start a new thread

White lithium grease would work good I assume... They sell it in tubes which is more of a solid type, or it is sold in a spray can. I know I sell it at Autozone. The spray can is by liquid Wrench, in a yellow can. The stuff in a tube is in the adhesives/tape/paint aisle on a hook. I'd put my money on that KR.
