Timmah Gets A Nosejob
So Im safe and sound and *LOVING* this place.I have now concluded that Jersey is shit and this place (cant name it here) is the place to be !
My mate has 2 lovely kids, and we have been having so much fun. My car broke down the other day (all the intake pipes split, my fault from overdoing the clips) and it needed another battery (god dang amps lmao) so I did all that and then I felt really guilty because I never did add the finishing touches to the car after the paint.
Rewinding a few days I got a buffer and have begun buffing the dry areas from the repairs after the main paint. Passenger door was the worst so I got that taken care of t'other night.
Anyways that leaves :
Fog lamps with strobes in them to go back in the car.
Red streetglo into the mouth.
Door handles black
Knight rider LED for clifford alarm on back shelf.
Full buff, polish and wax (its been 3 months)
So today I got out me wiring tools and went to work on the nose of the car. Here -

The 24" neon is nestled in the 'mouth' behind the grille I fabbed up and the strobes are in the black OEM fogs. It's amazing how that has added the full and completed 'tude to the front of her !
Then onto the wiring. I dont use my ash tray because I hate the stink of cigs (smoking is disgusting but I cant help it) so I decided to put the switch in there.

And finished smile.gif

And away smile.gif

And my Knight Rider LED for the alarm, this will reside on the parcel shelf smile.gif

Ill get some pics of the lighting tonight, cant see bugger all atm

Yo Pandy, wats good my man? ... cars lookin good but um, wats on the hood? two speakers? Kinda cool if ya ask me keep the work up. How r the rims treatin ya?
The hood has a pair of Ford Escort RS Cosworth vents, theyre from England mate smile.gif
The rims are good man, make the car handle soooo much better. Ride is bumpy as hell though but I couldnt go back, they look stunning on the car man smile.gif
Viper. Do it. Im serious dude. I had only ever seen NJ and Chincoteague VA.. And VA was better but their corn and tomatoes were SHAT !
Out here it is amazing, the views from the mountains are simply breath taking !
Anyway I have just walked back in the door and have gotten it all done. The strobes are shit like. One works ok, the other only flashes about every 30 seconds which is gay, mind you to replace them with good ones is like 5 mins work.
The underglo looks wicked tho !

Knight Industries Two Thousand haha.gif
wow that switch in the ash tray? pure sex! ive never seen that done before and it looks great with fantastic functionality, being hidden and all. do you mind if i ask where you bought the switch? it looks like it was made for there!
EDIT: and isnt it ironic that in the picture that you note that you never use the ash tray and hate the smell of cigs... theres a bigass pile of smokes in the photo!

I do smoke, but I hate it. Silly huh? thing is I gave up for 8 months then when I got here to the states and found out what a friggin mess of family drama I had walked into I started again.. Since then the stress has been never ending and so I go on.. I have mango small cigars there, theyre $8 a carton here and theyre better than cigs.. Less chemicals and they leave a real nice taste on your lips smile.gif
Since I got here I have cut back, I used to smoke a pack and a half a day but Im on less than a pack now.. I do want to quit so bad but I got so much crap going on that the stress would kill me first..
I dont know where the switch actually came from now mate tbh. It came with one of the lighting kits. Possibly the halogen fogs.. Infact yes, it came with those but I didnt use it as I wired those fogs to the stock wiring harness on the tib for fogs. The ones I tinted in the pic were broken (both the focus things got smacked when I drove off a high curb lmao and then bent and the lights were all out of focus) cheap fix was those little ones in the mouth that I fitted, theyre actually brighter than my headlamps and kick ass where they are, SOOO much better than OEM fogs lol.
I got them from walmart IIRC, $20 or so..
It lights up too, but I havent wired the bulb in yet.. Ill probably do that when I fit my electric turbo because I have buckets of wiring to do then (volt meters, amp meters, cap, inverter and god knows what else lol)

well i am definitely liking this car. real cool stuff man. im going to have to check for that kit next time i head to wal-mart and hopefully find a manufacturer. i definitely want to get a switch in there, and maybe a switch for the cigarette lighter, too. pop that thing open to reveal TWO hidden switches? thats definitely the epitome of cool.
And kudos for going ahead and wiring the lights up to the stock fog switch. any idea how to get the fogs on without the headlights?
