the dome lights are the 3022 festoon base bulbs. get the 4 led ones. the trunk light is neither, but i was able to shove a 4211 bulb in there. it was tough though.

for the lights behind the a/c knobs, get 4 of the single led wedge bulbs(two if you dont want to drill and dont mind it being semi-bright), cut off the wires to the lights on the plastic sheet, wire the leds to the cut wires, and then push the wedge leds in the holes for the old bulbs... they actually fit almost perfectly. i fthey dont, tape them in there or something. if you want it to be real bright, drill some holes for the other two and wire two more bulbs and pop them in there.

My bit question on LEDs and the real reason I have never played with them... can you dim them?

yup, just get a higher ohm rated resistor. or a potentiometer would work, and allow you to adjust the brightness with a knob.
