I found these Wedge Bulbs and am wondering where they would go on a 2001 Tiburon...
LED Wedge Bulbs can be used wherever #168 or #194 bulbs are used. On the 2003 Tiburon, the 194 bulbs are the small indicator lights beneath the high beam headlight bulbs.
...Where are they on the 2001? Here's the site on SharkRacing

yup das right
also 4 x 168/194 bulbs are used behind the gauge (tach/speedo,etc)
if you wanna get LED's for these, go to
www.superbrightleds.com
much much cheaper than SR

which ones on superbrightleds would fit my 2001 Tib for behind the gauges? I really want to make my speedometer and things red. I looked on their site, but I can't figure out which one I want (there are ones with multiple bases and such. Thanks. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but havent figured out how to do it.
the two that will fit are the "Single LED Wedge Base Bulbs" and the "4 and 6 LED Wedge Base Bulbs". i have an array of leds back there, but they are just for the needles. the single led ones project light everywhere, but the other ones are much brighter(cause there are more leds). the 4 and 6 ones arent really that good cause they shine beams, like regular leds. you could try cutting the top of those ones off though, that would probably produce very good results.
forgot to tell you, to replace them, you will have to take the bulb out of the black socket base and then stick the wedge led in there in place of it. if it doesnt work then, take the led out and put it in the other way or just spin the black base around and put it in the other possible way.

the two types i gave you will both fit in there, they just project their light differently. the single one has a crater, so it spreads its light everywhere. the multiple led ones are just regular leds, so they point their light in one direction. the only problem with the single one is that its not real bright, and you might have trouble getting your needle lit all the way. i suggest getting the multiple ones, and then doing something to them to project their light everywhere, because it will be brighter. the best way to figure it out though is to give it a try. get the single ones first, and if they arent bright enough, get the multiple ones.
