Default Led turn signals question

Some websites recommend a pair of load resistors for LED turn signal lights. Will it work or burn out faster if I don't get load resistors?

Just replace the flasher module. It's easier.

I got mine from Diode Dynamics, but you can grab an LED module at autozone. EF# something
