LED question...
As most of you know i have the Streetglow LED underbody kit on my car. well last night im out driving around and i stop to talk to some of my friends and the passenger side neon light is out. i get under the car to take a look... like two of the LED's are barely lit and thats it. i checked all connections and they were all fine... what would anyone say could be wrong here. i know i dont have much information about it but honestly i have no clue what could be wrong. any help would really be appreciated. thanks

hum... the led ones must be different than the neon ones, when one of mine goes out they all do. where did you buy them from? if you bought it from a dealer it's under warranty, I bought mine on ebay... so no warranty, just like everything else on or related to my car!!! 02.gif
yeah LEDs are wierd.....
Next time you go out....look closely at the 3rd brake lights......for some only ONE led will go out....but on our cars (I dont have a spoiler) the whole unit goes.....its really frustrating. I know why mine went (b/c I had leds for tails, w/ no resistor) Im going to take it out and replace all the LEDs w/ new ones and see if it works....I dont have LEDs for my brake/tail lights at the moment.
I'd bet that one of your LEDs went out....and it slowly overloaded the remaining ones until you are left w/ the current two that barely light up.

thats not quite how leds work. you cant really overload a led, unless it sees to much voltage. the only way that happened is if a resistor was somehow bypassed, which is VERY unlikely.
im betting one of the wires came loose inside the tube, prolly right around where it enters the tube. if you can open it up, take a look. also double check all your connections. try taking the wires from the tubes straight to the battery. see if the tube comes on.
hey tibwrc, do you have a rear window wiper? how is you rear defrost working?
