LED foglights versus HID

LED foglights versus HID
How do LED foglights compare to HID? Ive seen some of the LED lights on Audi's and other cars and they seem bright as hell. Wonder if they would be better than paying for HID since they're usually cheaper.

not sure how they compare, but HIDs are super cheap.. as cheap as ~30$ shipped for a bulb/ballast set.
are you looking to get entire housings with bulbs (aftermarket) or utilize existing foglights?

I have HID fogs in my stock casing, and let me tell you - they're nice!!! They're super bright, so if you're following your wife home, be sure to turn them off. Whoops...
I've driven home with just my foglights on multiple occasions. A couple times it was by accident. I got halfway home and relized they weren't on. Didn't really notice because they're so bright. Only reason I did notice is that the light seemed to be coming from kinda low down. Sure enough, my main lights weren't on.
