Please, if any of you Gen 2 guys can go take a pic of your car, well lit, possibly in your garage, with the windshield wipers UP. I need as clear of a shot, or shots, as possible. I'm going to photoshop the pic to show the new cowling we'll begin working on finally.

I need this so that I can give it to Import Trenz, so hopefully you can get it from an angle above aimed straight down at the cowl, and one from the side showing the whole cowl from that angle. I'll make a chop, make it look CF, and I'm guessing the final product comes out to look 90% dead on with the rendering. This will help get the product some life again, and we'll be able to make say 20 of these things off the bat to take care of everyone who's invested (a long ass time ago) and anyone who's thought the idea would be cool.

my cowling is painted a glossy black and has wiper nozzles in it though. is that a problem?

 

nope, not a prob at all. I just want at least 2 or 3 of you guys to send in pics, and that should suffice just fine.

 

got a few from the garage, canadian winter so not sure if you can even use any of these, pretty dirty and just washed it earlier in the day =/

I did a really horrible job on this chop, and spent way too much time on it. The vent will be nice and even, and it will be centered in the middle of the cowl, but do you guys get the idea?



I'll do a perfect chop later. I used the wrong tools in photshop and didn't even think of what I should have done till now.

 

Lovely I think it looks like a gill. It would also be nice to play around with it a bit and come up with at least 2-3 more designs. I'd like to see a slit, perhaps three or four slits for leaves and muck not to live in it.
