Can you tilt the intercooler back, That way more of it will recieve air.
Maybe you can make room for that by removing the bumper suport plastic thingy...


Or, go with the rally version, but instead of three different holes, make one wide one, and cover it by a colored mesh, maybe even car color red, that will make it less noticeble.
