My intercooler is 12" tall and being covered by the front bumper. So I need to fix that.

Original:

My Microsoft Paint masterpiece:

Or the Rally version:

IDK, I was bored here at work and felt like playing with Paint. Not sure what I want to do. I just don't like any of the a/m bumpers.

Yah tell me about it, i have a HUGE intercooler (diff from sig) and im just letting it hang for the time being, i will get a cuda bumper that will fit most of it but im focused on getting dynoed and tracked first. lol

haha, ive considered moving it up, but i'd rather have all the air then be less conspicuous; looks pretty intimidating when you see in real life...

jon, i personally would go with the rally version.. i know its not for looks, but the bumper seems like it would lose alotta structure with the hole that big and you would have to glass alot to make it look right.. the other way is a few easy cuts, and no repainting..

Yah if you did the rally version and made the grill on it red or something it may be quite unnoticable.

Yea, the one I made up was just for fun. But I'm also not too fond of the rally version just because it adds another 3 holes to the front bumper. And the RD2 has enough eyes and holes as it is.
Just wish there was an a/m bumper that I really liked.

there arent many good IC friendly aftermarket bumpers (with big enough opening for you) a custom GSX bumper would be fairly easy to do and plenty of IC opening

my bumper only has a ~6.5" opening but the bumper itself is pretty mild in terms of styling and looks.

The Ixion front bumper would probably be big enough for what you want. If you like that style. If your set on going with one of your choices, I'd go for the rally front.

Why dont you buy another RD2 bumper, cut it in half, add them together making it lower and making the mouth bigger? Kind of what i did with the GK2.

That's what I thought about doing, which would basically make it look like a F2 bumper, but it wouldn't be enough. Even if I lowered it another 3" and scraped the ground, that only gives me like 8" total.

I may do what I can with the stock bumper and change to a top/down IC with more width to span across the whole bumper opening.
